After a cab to morrow from sydney airport to i think downtown hunter street? bout 30mins drive, im not from the city so dont want to get lost on the buses.

Taxi rates are set across the board and i'm sure you won't have any trouble finding the taxi rank once you leave the terminal

As I think's already been said, taxi rates are set the same everywhere.However have you considered catching the train? A thirty minute drive in a cab could cost you up to $50 (more with city traffic), whilst on a train you could probably get there for about $10. Hunter St is long, so i'm not sure where you'd get off, but you could catch the train from either the domestic or international terminal to Wolli Creek, then change at Wolli Creek from the Sydney service (about a ten minute trip). You might then change for the City Circle loop at central if it's faster or just walk from central...it's pretty...central to everything. hehe.
